Central, London family seeks a responsible and caring Au Pair to look after their two primary school aged children for a Live In role. The working hours for this job would be Monday to Friday, approximately 25 hours per week with some flexibility.
The principal responsibilities in the role will be
to help look after the children,
getting them ready for school and dropping them off in the mornings,
picking them up and taking them to occasional after-school activities,
the Au Pair will then be responsible for playing with them,
helping them to read and do their homework,
and generally taking very good care of them,
and putting them to bed if the family are not around.
They also want the Au Pair to speak Dutch with the children so they can practice the language. The family would also expect the Au Pair to undertake some light housework duties like tidying the kitchen, hoovering, keeping the children's bedroom, bathroom and playroom clean and tidy, doing their washing and running light errands like collecting dry cleaning.
There will be some babysitting in the evening and some Sunday mornings depending on the flexibility of the Au Pair. The family have a cleaner who comes once a week to clean the house and the mother does a big weekly food shop, so these would not be the Au Pair responsibilities.
The family would like someone for a September start but happy to have someone who can start as soon as needed. To learn more about this role, please apply with your CV attached.
