We provide rugby-based play sessions to children aged 2-7 on Friday and Saturday mornings in Dulwich.
We’re looking for a lead coach and an assistant coach to fill two vacancies we have. Lead coach pay will start at £12.50 per hour and go up as you can take on more responsibility. Assistant coach pay will start at £10 per hour and also go up as you can take on more responsibility.
Our Friday session runs from 9.30-11.30am and our Saturday sessions runs from 9.30am – 12.30pm. You don’t need to be available for both but please let us know in your application whether you are available for both Friday and Saturday or just one.
No rugby experience is necessary, we’re much more looking for people good with young children who are energetic and outgoing. Since our kids are so young this job is about being able to be silly and fun and engaging and giving our kids a great time more than imparting specialised sports knowledge.
You will be working outdoors amongst a team of 8 coaches with about 60 kids. We provide the session plan each week so you just have to turn up and have fun with the kids.
The ideal person for this roll will have:
- An enthusiastic, outgoing and fun personality.
- A genuine desire and interest to work with young children.
- experience working with young children (although not required for the assistant coach role)
