Role Description
Reporting to the Director of Engineering on site with support from the Maintenance Manager – team of five engineers with additional painter-decorator; working on a 12-hr / 4-day rotation to ensure 24 / 7 maintenance cover of the Hotel.
Duties: part of a team responsible for the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance and repair across all departments within the Grade II building including Suites / bathrooms; front of house and kitchen; offices and back of house areas
Undertaking all aspects of maintenance typically including works covering plumbing, electrical, plastering and carpentry
Consistently delivering quality fix on all jobs ensuring safe working practices and compliance with all Health and Safety legislation
Ensuring the minimal impact to the hotel teams with guest experience and satisfaction as the key focus

Salary and Benefits
Start salary: £25,000 pa
Permanent contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period: regular performance-related salary review; courses as required; 28 days paid annual leave; workplace pension option; progression; staff discounts; cycle to work scheme; meals on duty
