Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Energy and Building Performance Manager to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
Peabody and Family Mosaic have merged, creating a new housing association providing 55,000 homes to 111,000 people across London and the South East. Our combined scale and strong focus on London will uniquely position us to revolutionise housing delivery and redefine best practice – and you will be central to making it happen.
As our Energy and Building Performance Manager you will maximize income and generation of, and expand, Peabody Group’s renewables portfolio and to minimise and fully recover the cost, where applicable, of consumption of communal energy. To accurately monitor and minimise the energy consumption of residential, corporate and communal facilities and manage contractual relationships and agreements.
Responsibilities of the Energy and Building Performance Manager:
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to support our customers.
- Assess clients’ needs to ensure effective service delivery.
- Advise and support our customers in resolving their queries and issues, ensuring that their expectations are managed and proactive resolutions are identified.
- Update and maintain systems/ records to ensure that information/data is kept up to date and accurate and that KPI’s are met.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organisation.
Skills/experience required by the Energy and Building Performance Manager:
Essential
- Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and valuing diversity.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
- Budget Management experience
- Understanding of heat, ventilation and renewable technologies.
Desirable
- experience of working with statutory providers.
