A semi-formal household of four comprising father, part-time professional mother and two children (boy age 5, girl age.
2) Seeks an experienced, intelligent, discreet and positive housekeeper. Proactivity, enthusiasm and infectious energy will win this position. Whilst the couple already employ a Nanny (and will continue to do so), it is essential that housekeeper enjoys children and be available for regular baby-sitting and childcare alongside the parents, who are mostly present and actively involved in child-rearing. Competence in the kitchen (prep work) and cooking skills would be an added plus.
The job is in a beautifully-decorated home located in a leafy, western London neighbourhood by the Thames, near both tube, buses and Overland rail. The Housekeeper’s flat is self-contained in a separate building, with its own external entrance, full bath, etc. For the right candidate, a live-out option could be discussed.
Start date: Late August or September – employers are flexible to accommodate scheduling needs of applicant;
Compensation: £450 – £600 pounds per week, depending on experience and qualifications, 4 weeks paid holiday, sick leave, use of car;
Hours: weekdays (8:30 AM – 7:30 PM with one hour break), ½ day every other Saturday. Evening babysitting once a week;
Professional Work experience: 2 years’ experience as a Housekeeper required, as is experience with young children;
Language and Driver’s License: Decent English essential and a driver’s license highly appreciated. German speakers encouraged to apply.
