Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Employment Caseworker to join our team in Essex. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £32,497 per annum.
The Employment Caseworker role:
An exciting opportunity has come up for an Employment Caseworker to join the Employment and Training Team. This post is based in Romford, Essex where you will provide excellent front line customer service by working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our customers’ needs are met and the departmental/team objectives are achieved.
To engage customers in a cross-borough/departmental capacity and improve employability by delivering quality employment related activity, equipping customers with the skills and tools required for effective job search.
Responsibilities of the Employment Caseworker:
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to support our customers.
- Assess customers’ needs to ensure effective service delivery.
- Advise and support our customers in resolving their queries and issues, ensuring that their expectations are managed and proactive resolutions are identified.
- Update and maintain systems/records to ensure that information/data is kept up to date and accurate.
- Ensure KPI’s are met
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organisation.
What we’re looking for in our Employment Caseworker:
Essential
- Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and valuing diversity.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
- experience of producing quality CV’s and cover letters.
- experience of delivering employment and training workshops, motivational training programs and developing course curriculum.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance and/or Job Brokerage (or above)
