Overview:
The successful candidate is expected to hold a key position in the Advanced Technology Department of the company. The responsibilities include an extensive involvement in the research and development of new concepts and solutions or the advancement of existing products. The focus is on producing innovative and cost effective state of the art products and technical solution relying always on the principle of irreducible minimum to achieve the set objectives.
REPORTING:
The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Manager and from time to time the relevant senior management
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and support software for the following applications
16bit automotive MCU, Misra compliance Automotive interfaces: CAN, LIN, FLEXRAY Serial interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART Micro-controller interfacing Sensor signal processing ADC interface for amplifiers and digital filters.
Embedded software support for
Power Electronics: Knowledge of H-bridge and FET, Transistor PWM and DC Motor control PID control Actuator drives
Design Techniques:
Design complex embedded architecture Design using 3rd party drivers and libraries Simple RTOS and Scheduling Interrupt driven embedded system
CORE COMPETENCIES
experience
Proven level of experience in Engineering and Software Design role within a manufacturing environment (automotive, aviation, medical, etc.) with focus on electromechanical drive systems architecture
Professional background in embedded control electronic systems design (Hardware and firmware)
Prototype building and soldering of small components
Knowledge of the at least 3 of the following is a must
Automotive Microcontroller: Freescale (NXP), Microchip, Renesas
PWM, MOFSET drivers, Digital circuit
Embedded C programming
Fieldbus : CAN, LIN,
Misra C, RTOS and Scheduling
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Appreciable knowledge of mechanical systems
Qualifications
Relevant and applicable qualifications in Applied Science and Engineering
Additional requirement
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Focus and Self-motivation coupled with the ability to work as part of a team
Ability to multitask
High level of organisation and attention to detail
