The Company

The company was established in 1983 as a retail business providing copying, printing and stationery services to the retail and corporate market.
Key Accountabilities:
• Email blasts, Website Banners, Animated Banners. Website Graphics, Landing pages, Printed collateral for direct marketing, Affiliate Banners, Office marketing materials, Putting together HTML emails
• Manage the email production process from end-to-end - from brief through design, HTML production and campaign deployment to reporting.
• Day-to-day management of the email schedule, ensuring all mailings are delivered correctly, promptly and to schedule to deliver maximum revenues.
• Maintain and communicate reports on email activity, including key KPIs (open rates, click through rates, conversions, unsubscribes, etc).
• Track performance of email activity and take ownership to raise and identify any anomalies, highlighting issues or making recommendations for improvement where appropriate
• Ensure best practice email design, HTML build and usability. Utilise the ESP tools to ensure maximum deliverability and optimal renderability. Raise support requests and liaise with ESPs as and when required
• Keep abreast of industry best practice, new techniques and competitor activity in relation to email
• Work with the Email Marketing Manager to develop and main email calendars and schedules.
• Assist Email Marketing Manager in design and oversee implementation of A/B tests.
• Exposure to SEM, Paid Search, Social, SEO, Affiliate, Blogging and all digital channel marketing across UK and USA
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in marketing, business, or related field
• 1-2 years email marketing experience in a fast-paced, either at agency or client side
• Ability to hand code HTML and CSS, work with PSD files, understanding of programmable workflows, and basic understanding of relational databases
• Ability to work well with people as part of a team and develop strong working relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills
• Proficient with basic software programs including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook, PhotoShop and Dreamweaver
• E-commerce experience knowledge a plus
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
• Hands-on experience with enterprise level email platform a plus
