We are a small maintenance company based in Harrow, North West London carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in and around the London area.  We are currently looking for an Experienced Electrician to carry out planned and reactive maintenance to mainly residential and some commercial properties.

You must be a qualified Electrician and hold all the relevant or equivalent qualifications below and be able to:

Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems including fault finding, rewiring inspection and testing.
Have 5 years or more experience.
Be able to work unsupervised on your own initiative.
City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent or to have shown competence in the area of Inspection and Testing electrical installations, in accordance with Guidance Note 3 of the IET and have a good knowledge of a variety of electrical installation work. Or to have been assessed by such persons as the NICEIC/ELECSA for the role of Qualifying Supervisor)
City and Guilds 2382-10/12 or 2382-20 (17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations)
City and Guilds 2395 - Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
City and Guilds 2394 -Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations.
Report all faulty appliances / installations that do not comply with current regulations.
Replace sockets, light fittings and other electrical accessories.
Replacement of consumer units including testing and certification.
Maintain communal internal and external lighting.
Earthing and protective bonding of installations.
Erect use and dismantle access equipment.
Collection and delivery of tools materials and equipment.
Be prepared to travel mainly with in the M25 area but outside if necessary.
Be prepared to carry out other basic maintenance duties when and if required.
experience with Access Control/Door Entry Systems, Fire Alarm Systems and CCTV would be an advantage.
You will be required to hold a full UK driving license and all up to date certificates for your trade.

It would be desirable but not essential due to nature of work if you also have experience installing, testing and inspecting Fire Alarm Systems, Door Entry Systems and CCTV Systems.

This position is available to start as soon as possible    Working hours are generally 07:00-17:00 Monday – Friday although you must be prepared to work outside of these hours if necessary to complete a job.  Some overtime or call out work outside of these hours is available.
Pay level will depend on level of experience or if you have additional skills such as installing and diagnosing faults on fire alarm, CCTV and access control systems or if you have your transport tools, and equipment.
