Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Contract Manager to join our team in London. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and you will receive a salary of £53,000 - £55,000 per annum.
The Electrical Contract Manager role:
Ensure that all electrical equipment and installations within the housing stock are maintained to a high standard in accordance with good engineering practice to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Manage the Electrical services contract s to ensure that the service provider fully delivers all contractual requirements, and works in partnership with Peabody to achieve continuous improvement in the standards of quality and value achieved by the service.
What we’re looking for in our Electrical Contract Manager:
- Substantial experience of working in electrical engineering.
- Expert knowledge of electrical installations and other equipment within the scope of the contract.
- Substantial experience of managing contractors and consultants.
- Substantial experience of managing projects to install or refurbish electrical equipment.
- Substantial experience of running major quality control regimes to establish contractual and statutory compliance.
- Substantial experience of applying new technology to improve service delivery.
- experience of investigating incidents and managing the diagnostic process for electrical service failures.
- experience of analysing complex performance data and using it to manage the performance of contractors and plant.
Qualifications required of our Electrical Contract Manager:
- City and Guilds qualified 2391 and qualified to carry out electrical inspections to BS 7671 or approved equivalent.
- Chartered Engineer or Working towards Ieng, CEng, MIET.
- Educated to HNC in M and E; Engineering.
