Volunteer in Queens Park for our Eid Celebration!
The project entails feeding up to 150 people on 1st July, gathering members of the community from a multitude of backgrounds, to share each others' cultures and celebrate the festival of Eid.
We are looking for chefs that are willing to use their precious time and skills to help us feed the community.
Main type of dishes being served: North-African/Asian
Times: Cooking hours will be from 10 am
Service hours: at 3 pm
Cooking utensils, ingredients and equipment will be supplied.
Aprons and chef whites available, but if you have your own it would be preferable that you bring those in.
What we would like you to do:
* Prepare the food (help will be received from a team of volunteers)
* Cook the food
* Clean the kitchen when finished
* Help with the start of service (preferable)
We will try our best to ensure that you get the most out of this experience. No commercial experience required, but good initiative, passion and determination is near to perfect :)
