A fashion and lifestyle consumer magazine based in London with global distribution has vacancies for one EDITORIAL ASSISTANT:
Must have experience in:
- Print and online digital magazine publishing. Sociable, friendly disposition, good command of English language, spoken and written and skilled in using modern publishing soft ware.
Other responsibilities include, creating flat plans, pitching ideas for new projects, liaison with editors, magazine designers, PR companies, collating submissions from freelance contributors, assist in writing / editing features, arranging / attending photo shoots, attending industry's social events such as fashion shows, commissioning freelancers, proof reading articles, updating the company’s social media sites such as twitters, face book, tumblr, instagram etc.
Must be punctual, reliable and deadline conscious, able to work without constant supervision.
Must have own resources to operate effectively from home when not working from our offices.
