As a small online Retail business selling Handbags and Travel Accessories, we are looking for a local enthusiastic all round product write up assistant who is fluent in English and likes to work in the fast paced eCommerce fashion industry. Quality in service, accurate and detailed product write up coupled with detailed colour and tone correct images is key to our success. This reflects back to our order processing desk which is always kept busy.
In a small team of 4 your role as product write up, social media and assistant photographer, will require you to take a lead in managing all product write up tasks. Keep company social media feeds updated and get involved and assist in product photography for our online marketplaces like eBay and Amazon.
You will have some knowledge of current fashion trends or must have an interest in the field.
You will be fluent in English with a can-do approach and a hands-on and proactive attitude. You will have awareness of basic and exotic colour names and use this skill to tactfully create colour names for all incoming stock.
Your Primary Job will include:
Take responsibility of writing captivating product titles and descriptions and keep all existing Excel data files up to date with ongoing enhancement and feed the data to marketplaces through product listing system. Manage data translation from English to other European languages using online and liaise with human translators where possible. Keep company social media feeds updated and get involved and assist in product photography as and when required. You will work closely with Photographer to make sure product photography reflect true character of the product.
Main point of contact for customers and assist in providing customer services via phone and email.
Other duties will include:
Some ad hoc photography and possibly getting involved in key decisions in creating a fully transactional eCommerce site for the company. Handle customer complaints and manage customer returns. Preparing Handbags to get them ready for photography, Take RAW images using Canon DSLR and strobe lighting equipment, edit images using Adobe PhotoShop\Lightroom and take full responsibility to manage all image related data.
Some knowledge of Adobe Photo Editing Software, knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Linnworks and Linnlive Inventory management and listing tools, some knowledge of basic HTML Tags and knowledge of any other language (French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Mandarin) will work to your advantage.
Working Hours 9 am to 5.30/6 pm Monday to Friday.
