Our hugely successful business which has recently seen us grow to 5 gourmet food stores in south west London is based on our passion for the best food possible. We sell over 4,000 product lines to appeal to all foodies: everything from artisan breads, ethically sourced meat and fish, seasonal fresh produce and over 150 different types of cheeses.
At the heart of our business, we have an incredibly busy, creative kitchen based in Parsons Green whose focus is on producing daily, fresh, seasonally sourced dishes. Think watermelon gazpacho, mushroom and truffle mac and cheese, asparagus and goat’s Curd quiche, truffle Pesto pasta or balsamic Glaze chicken with roast Fennel and pomegranate.
Due to company expansion and internal promotion, we are now looking for the right person to join us. Is this you?
YOU:
- have either 1 year’s experience in a Head Chef role or 3 years as a Sous-Chef?
- have a level 3 food hygiene certificate or are willing to get it rapidly under your belt
- are creative, ambitious, hard-working and determined to find the right company who will recognise your innate skills and character.
- Have solid interpersonal skills and fluent English to enable you to keep effective communication lines open with all the stores’ managers.
- are organised and can undertake all product ordering and have the stamina to be actively involved in meeting the tight, daily production deadlines: 90 fresh product lines ready for early afternoon delivery to all of our stores.
- Will oversee and manage not only the hot food production, but also our increasingly popular Vitality Bar and street barbecue lunches
- can lead your dedicated team of 14 staff by example, and mentor the more junior team members where necessary

- competitive 25K-27K salary dependent on experience
- initially, a largely 7am-3pm schedule with some weekend shifts
