Driver Logistics Assistant Wanted

Tateossian, a global wholesaler and retailer for luxury goods, has an immediate vacancy for a fast, well-organised and detail-oriented Logistic Assistant with a clean driving licence, to join a friendly team in their head office based in Chelsea, London.
Responsibilities and duties
• To maintain the provision of the logistics service meeting the needs of the Company
• Ensure the Packing Department is supplied with all necessary equipment in a timely manner
• To ensure all areas within your remit are kept clean and tidy and health and safety rules and procedures are adhered to at all times
• Monitoring, checking stock numbers and adjusting stock levels in the in-house bespoke system as required
• Responding to emails, other admin duties (invoices, misc out files) planning and organising next day of work, sorting out outstanding shipment issues and communicating effectively with other departments
• Direct control and full responsibility of company warehouse
• Delivery of parcels and letters to other company properties
• Overseeing shipping to both clients and suppliers
• Picking and validating outgoing shipments using different methods of shipping
• Responsible for managing all company packaging and display material
• Tendering shipments to obtain competitive freight rates
• Checking transport invoices from the Finance Department
• Carry out regular stock checks on all packaging and feedback to the Manager
• Solving issues with suppliers
• Assist as key support and organise shipments for trade shows
• Any other ad hoc duties in line with the needs of the business and ongoing development of the department
• Upholding Company Policies and Procedures; maintaining Company confidentiality and high standards of professionalism
Essential Skills and experience
• experience in a logistics environment of a small to medium size company
• Hold a current full, clean driving licence
• Excellent command of English, oral and written
• Computer literate, intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment
• Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative as well as working as part of a small team
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent time management skills
• Liaise effectively with different departments using appropriate means of communicating and language
• Follow clear instructions and ‘getting the job done’
• Able to prioritise heavy workflow and work to deadlines
• To have a hands on approach and willing to get Stuck in to all aspects of the rol
Desired Skills and experience
• Previous customer services experience
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Worked within the fashion industry or luxury products.
