The role will entail the following:
- Meeting and greeting customers upon their arrival, helping them with their cars and parking.
- Vehicle handover to customers at collection.
- Ensuring that customer and company vehicles are cleaned and prepared efficiently to the highest standards ready for delivery.
- Assisting customers with finding their vehicles/ bringing the vehicles to the Reception door for the customer as you would for a valet service. Therefore it is vital that you are comfortable dealing and communicating with customers.
- Collecting and delivering of vehicles: On a daily basis you may be asked to drive company or customer vehicles to and from the Garage.
- Making yourself available for the Workshop and Customer Service Managers at all times.
- You will be the last port of quality control. All cars must be presented in pristine condition and any faults (minor or major) should be picked up on prior to the vehicle being handed over to the customer.
- You will be able to converse with customers and fellow staff clearly, pleasantly and effectively.
You will be the first member of staff that our customers meet and your behaviour will represent our company and our values to the public. It is expected that you will be capable of delivering excellent customer service.
You must be reliable, conscientious and hardworking with good attention to detail and a high regard for customer care. You will be joining a close knit and productive team so the ability to work well as part of a team is essential.
Ideally, you will show an interest in personal development as we invest in our staff so that they become multi-skilled through in-house training. This will allow you to contribute and cover in other areas of the business as we are a small company so it is vital that staff are able to move within departments (e.g. Drivers might sometimes be asked to help in Reception with customers).
Successful applicants will be well presented with high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
It is essential that applicants have a current valid clean licence for cars and a good knowledge of London (especially South West London; Belgravia, Pimlico, Chelsea) is desirable though not essential.
Your working days will be 5.5 days from Monday to Saturday.
Salary offered up to £22,500 per annum commensurate with skills and experience.
