A well-known British fashion company based in South West London is recruiting for a full time driver and building maintenance operator. The ideal candidate will be driving the CEO and his guests to work, appointments and social event's as well as assisting him with his daily duties.
The candidate shall be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient management of the overall security operations within the building. They will be able to identify all necessary repairs to be carried out in the building and address the problem in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Driving the CEO to work and other required locations
• To maintain the premises (both internally and externally) in a clean, safe, sound and secure condition for staff
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on building equipment on a scheduled basis;
• Inspect and call certified contractors in order to test or repair, for example, door guides, power sockets, change lighting/emergency lighting, heating system, bathroom, catering equipment and kitchen electrical item, sink taps.
• Respond to emergency situations and maintenance requests during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Arrange furniture and equipment for the head office.
Essential Skills:
• Knowledge of retail maintenance works
• Excellent knowledge of driving in and around London
• Excellent knowledge of the Highway Code
• Must be able to work independently and prioritise
• Punctual
• Excellent communication skills
• Well-presented and always with professional manner
• Able to show patience and remain Clam during client visits
• Adopt a positive attitude to difficult situations and working under pressure
• Excellent verbal communication skills and customer service skills
• Knowledge of Italian is an advantage but not a requirement
• Being organised and using common sense where required
• Proven record to taking ownership of duties and daily tasks
• Be flexible with regards to working hours - 24/7 on-call cover on a Rota basis
• Ability to be flexible with locations
• Ability to use a satnav and drive a big commercial van
• Full UK Driving Licence and have been driving for minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 3 points
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing, training courses in these areas desirable.
