About the job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Door Person to join our Concierge team here at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
The main purpose of the role is:

To strive to please the guest and sell the in-house services.
To drive/chauffeur guests on an ad hoc basis using the hotel mini within one mile of JCT further mileage requires permission from the HOD.
To ensure that the hotel's driveway and main entrance and car-park are clean and free of traffic at all times, ensuring that all defects are reported to the concierge or placed directly into Hot Sos.
To be aware of all activities both in the hotel (Food and Beverage functions, restaurants, meeting rooms) and in the city.
To call for a taxi for the guest upon request.
To Ensure the guest experience music is on and playing throughout the entire shift at peak volume.
To take ownership of the Joggers station including the replenishment of hand Towels, maps and water.
To be fully conversant of LQA standards and deliver them at all time.
To unload luggage from the cars for arriving guests, following health and safety manual handling guidelines.
To load cars for departing guests, ensuring a polite manner and courteous farewell, remembering to confirm the number of pieces with the departing guest.
To direct and escort guests to reception announcing them by name.
To provide red carpet service for VIPs and Weddings.

About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:

Excellent level of English
Friendly, approachable and professional
Previous experience in a similar role
Very sound knowledge of London and the surrounding area of Knightsbridge, Belgravia and Chelsea.
Clean Driving Licence
PCO Licence (not essential but preferred).
