This a great opportunity to work for an ultra-high net worth family at their part time residence in Chelsea, London. This is a super family to work for, all their staff stay long term!
Whether you are an experienced or new starter couple from hotels, privately run homes, yachts or other then this could be a super opportunity for you both to work for an appreciative, ultra-high net worth client and family. This is a part time residence so your flexibility to the days/hours is essential. The family are only in residence 60% of the year and stay for various periods of time from one week to one month before they travel again. If the family are in residence you will work 6/7 days per week and you will be compensated for this. During the extended periods when the family are overseas and you are able to take more down time and work 5 days per week.
You will be in charge of the home and keep the general maintenance of the property to a high standard at all times. For cultural reasons it is essential that the couple are married!
Duties for the gentleman;
Cooking for the family. Further training will be provided and you will be able to go on refined cookery courses paid by the employer to greater improve your knowledge in different cuisines and techniques.
Shopping for the household and running errands
Waitering and Butler duties. Further training is offered in these areas including silver service
Maintenance and security of the property
Cleaning and keeping tidy the garage and front and rear entry areas
Supervising and overseeing outside contractors
Handyman duties and being able to ascertain which trades are required for any maintenance issues
Duties for the lady:
Cooking with husband. Further training will be available to improve culinary skills and knowledge
Serving at the table when required and further training can be provided including silver service
Keeping clean and tidy the ground floor and basement areas including the staff areas
Doing the laundry including collecting and delivering to the correct rooms/Suites.
Guest laundry when in residence
Assisting in the kitchen and waitering when required
Turn down service of all beds in the evenings
Assist with errands when required
You must have clear communication skills and be able to work with other staff when they are in residence. Another housekeeping staff member is on duty when the family are in residence for the duration of their visits but when the family are not in residence you are in sole charge of the property.
Working as a united team to ensure that when busy you will each pick up the Slack and assist each other and the other staff member to cover duties to ensure a steady and high level of service at all times.
This is a long term role suited to committed and professional couples wanting to secure a long term role for an appreciative and generous family. You will have basement accommodation in the house consisting of own large bedroom, ensuite bathroom and a separate living space. This is very secluded from the family quarters so privacy is guaranteed. You will be able to use the main kitchen.
The role is available for an immediate start although will wait for the right couple!
£700 - £850 net per week DAE with other benefits to be discussed upon application.
