Responsibilities and Duties:
Full house and estate management, security management, household accounts and bill paying. Ensure all house IT and wifi is operating and maintained, vehicle management ,maintenance, cleaning and servicing, tax and insurance to schedule. House and property maintenance, scheduling and supervision of attending contractors.
Ideal Candidates:
Minimum of 3 years experience within a similar estate -private family. Professional confident trustworthy and proactive. Self starters and independent, creative thinkers and problem solvers. Strong negotiating skills on principals behalf. Identifying and resolving problems before being asked. Highly flexible keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic. We only require candidates who have a view to staying long term. Country loving and outdoor people. Full clean driving licenses for both and police vetted.
Her: Experienced in house management, administration and housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and cooking for the family.
Him: experience on a large country estate, general gardening and exterior property maintenance. Tractor with PTO and general machinery. Handy man skills. Roof and Gutter maintenance, fencing repairs. Cutting wood for open fires. Liaising with and managing contractors as required. Maintain paddocks and fencing in coordination with local farmers who utilize a portion of the land for agricultural, cultivation and livestock. Previous experience or an interest in shooting and  fly fishing is advantageous.
Accommodation: Live in accommodation is provided  in a newly renovated 1600 Sq ft Gate lodge. Utilities are inclusive and use of estate vehicle for work.
General Information: The estate is 113 Acres on the shores of a Lough in an idyllic country location with general gardens and large areas of woodland, Pastures and almost a mile of lake frontage.   The Main house is 6,800 Sq Ft.  Dating back to 1890. The property consists of Main Residence, Gate Lodge, Boat house and stables. All are undergoing renovation. Short commute to local town.
The property will be used by Principal, family and friends as a holiday home and will also be let out to High Net worth USA visitors for short term visits managed Via an American Co. The property is not let out or open to the general public. The management of this is external.
