We at Pawpairs are a friendly, reliable, trusted and experienced team of Pet Au Pairs, dedicated to looking after people's pets whenever they need may us. We absolutely love the work we do and take great pride in it, which means we have developed an excellent reputation in our small corner of the earth (South West London). Because of this, we are a growing business and are therefore looking for candidates who we feel will maintain this reputation and offer the highest level of service to our clients.
We are currently looking for experienced pet carers to join our team as dog Walkers / dog boarders / cat + small pet visitors / live-in pet sitters / all of the above.
The work is part-time, however there is the potential for a more full time role if you are willing to get involved in more than one aspect. Otherwise our work should fit in with your lifestyle / other part-time commitments you may already have.
See below the minimum requirements of each role (more detailed job descriptions will be provided further into application process):
• DOG WALKER: must absolutely love dogs and show a natural ability with them; have experience walking multiple (up to.
4) Dogs simultaneously; enjoy being active outdoors and be happy to walk dogs in ANY weather; be available from 11am - 3pm, Monday – Friday; own a suitable vehicle with air-con and be a safe, considerate and responsible driver; collect and drop off dogs at respective houses.
• DOG BOARDER: must have a love for dogs and experience caring for them; have suitable accommodation with secure garden (your property will be inspected); be willing and able to collect dogs from clients’ houses and drop them off (if necessary); care for them as their owners would whilst they are in your home (lots of love and attention, walks, feeding etc).
• CAT + SMALL PET VISITOR: must have a love for and experience with cats plus any variety of small pets (we look after rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish etc.); visit pets at clients’ homes and look after them according to clients’ requests (love and attention, grooming, feeding, cleaning etc.); must be available for a few hours morning and evening; and arrange their own transport.
• LIVE-IN PET SITTER: must be available to stay with pets overnight plus a few hours during the day and take care of them as their owners would (includes loads of love, feeding, walks, basic house chores etc.).
All applicants MUST:
* Love animals (naturally)
* Have some experience caring for animals (even if only your own)
* Be trustworthy, reliable and responsible
* Have a friendly disposition and good communication skills
* Have or be willing to obtain a DBS certificate
* Be over 18 (for insurance purposes)
* Live in/very near to and be able to service the following areas in South West London: SW2, SW11, SW12, SW16, SW17, SW18, SW19, CR4.
