We are looking to recruit a permanent full-time, experienced dog carer near Hampstead Heath for our private client.
A HNW couple living in Highgate, North London is looking for someone who is enthusiastic about dogs, hardworking, very reliable and flexible.
You will be responsible for exercising their 4-year-old Korean Jindo, cooking for him and feeding, keeping the medicaments in stock and up to date and occasionally doing basic housekeeping (if the housekeeper is not present).
The dog gets walked twice a day at 8am and 3pm for an hour. In between the walks and after, the dog carer should spend some time bonding with him (playing, exercising). He is a distant dog, which takes time to get comfortable around new people.
You must be able to work as a part of the team in the household but also happy to work alone.
You will work 5 days a week (with 2 days off during the week) between 8am and 8pm (this work time includes long breaks during the day).
Being flexible is essential because you will travel along with the dog twice a year at least for 6 weeks each time to the family's winter/summer residence.
In return you will benefit from getting experienced with a very specific dog breed, working in a dynamic team, accompanying the dog on the travels and many else.
Annual salary of 22k gross
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
Randolphs is an employment agency and employment business authorized to advertise the role on behalf of our client.
