Director of Sales and Marketing - 5* Hotel in London Competitive salary with great benefits You will be responsible for leading and directing the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Lead and direct the development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans* Develop, maintain and implement strategies/action plans to generate revenues for the hotel.* Work closely with the Revenue Management team to determine a competitive sales pricing strategy* Work closely with all Operational Divisions to promote services, offers and other activities across the hotel* Promote high visibility of hotel through active involvement in industry associations, trade shows and other national and international activities* Manage and develop the Sales and Marketing team* Stimulate productivity of all sales staff through guidance, development and support while maintaining a high moral* Design and seize all advertising and public relations opportunities.* Effective management of all budgets to insure optimum operating profit.* Reporting, communication and presentation of management information and KPI statistics to director and board levelIDEAL CANDIDATE* Strong people manager who strives to achieve exceptional results* Creative and innovative with passion for hospitality* 3-4 years experience in a similar role within a Hotel Property or Leading Hospitality Group* Sales and commercially focused with proven ability to maximize revenue and sales, marketing and PR* Bachelors degree or equivalent* Naturally confident, highly driven with a focused and ambitious nature* Strong understanding of the London market, Interested in this great challenge?
