Dining Assistant

Monday - Friday 10am - 2.30pm (22.5 Hours a week)
Our client a secondary school based in East London (Hackney) requires a Dining Assistant, working as part of a small team you will be responsible for catering services within the school. Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals and dining room arrangements.
Duties will include:

Till service
Stocking the till area
Assist with the preparation of meals
Assist with serving meals
Preparing items of food for sale
Maintain a clean canteen area i.e. Wiping tables, removing spillages.
Washing, tidying and restocking kitchen utensils.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships, and can confidently deal with students in a friendly manner. It would be highly desirable if you have previously worked within a school/catering environment, with a certificate in food Hygiene.
