Cineworld Group was founded in 1995 and has grown through expansion and by acquisition to become one of the leading cinema Groups in Europe with the number one or number two position by number of screens in each of its regions. Cineworld currently operates 2,108 screens across 224 sites in the UK, Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania and Israel. We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Manager to join our ecommerce team based in our fantastic head office in Brentford with regular travel to the company Warsaw offices to work with UX and IT teams. Our offices are accessible from Gunnersbury tube station on the District Line and Overground or via a short walk from Kew Bridge mainline station.
Reporting into the Group Head of Digital our Digital Product Manager will work with stakeholders and other team members to manage the backlog of requirements for IT products and their delivery by internal teams and suppliers.
Digital Product Manager – Key Responsibilities.
- Manage the demand process and be a day-to-day contact for marketing, operations, commercial and other business stakeholders on new projects and production issues.
- Define product requirements with key stakeholders writing user stories and acceptance criteria and overseeing the on time delivery of wireframes, prototypes and visual designs from user experience colleagues.
- Work with stakeholders and Group Head of Digital to prioritise product backlogs.
- Develop supplier briefs for outsourced projects and manage their delivery.
- Ensure that robust quality assurance practices are adhered to during the delivery of products and their improvements.
-Day-to-day contact for developers and suppliers during the production process and work with key stakeholders to obtaining necessary sign offs.
- Pro-actively manage budgets by working with the Finance Department, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with user experience and brand standards by working with user experience team and stakeholders during the creation of backlog requirements.
- Participate in product requirement briefs, Sprint reviews and Sprint planning sessions.
- Ensure effective monitoring, alerting and reporting tools are in place for all products.
- Work with the Digital Data Analyst to drive decision making based on real-life data.
- Provide project process and management support to other departments where required.
Digital Product Manager – Key Skills/experience.
- Extensive management experience within a digital, new media or ECommerce environment is required.
- experience managing user experience, software development and testing suppliers.
- Degree educated and proven experience using both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Up-to-date industry qualifications, such as Scrum Product Owner and PRINCE2.
- Knowledge of and experience undertaking requirements analysis, writing user stories and using user experience design artefacts such as wireframes.
- experience of utilising data analysis to drive decisions and deliver against business outcomes and KPIs.
- Ability to manage and deliver projects throughout the project life cycle.
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects, sprints and suppliers.
- experience managing project budgets of over £200,000.
- experience utilising and maintaining task management tools such as Jira.
