We are disrupting our industry and are now seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to help us to tell the world about what we are doing and why we are so special! We help create unique, bespoke and tailormade memories that will last a lifetime each and everyday. Do you have the ability to help tell all about these?

Cakes Today is a pure family run, sameday cake specialist and who has revolutionised how to make and deliver bespoke cakes. We really do create hundreds of smiles each and every day and change the lives of so many. Our customers can order till 9pm for sameday cake delivery. We have over 500 varieties and each and every cake is handmade, personalised and delivered often within hours or collected within minutes (Yes, personsalised cakes in under 10 minutes!). No one else makes cakes with our quality, service, value, availability or price points. We are by far the industry leader!

We now have a team of nearly 50 and produce thousands of cakes and pastries each and every month. Each order is managed start to finish in-house by our dedicated teams. We do not outsource anything, from our team of Celebration Advisers, Bakers, Decorators, Cake Artists to our Delivery Drivers it is an end to end solution in house. And yes, our team are ALL amazing. We really do value each and every team member and are grateful each and every day for all they do to enable our vision of delivering more and more smiles.

No one else makes cakes like we do or offers as many services with availability. We really are changing the game. Our company has pretty much grown through word of mouth with very little marketing presence. We really have concentrated on getting our systems processes and procedures in place. Now it’s time to tell ALL!

We now need your help to tell the world about what we are doing from posting, tweeting, messaging and all other means of digital communication. We need someone who wants to tell our story from the hundreds of smiles which we create to the charity work and giving back we do almost daily.

Our digital marketing strategy is pretty much going to have to be written and then executed. It is going to provide someone with a blank canvas, a unique opportunity to really leave their print.

We are seeking hungry, motivated, driven individuals who are seeking further themselves and their careers. There are plenty of opportunities to further yourself and your career as our company continues to develop and so does our marketing team.

To qualify for this position you will have experience on managing commercial digital presences for a company or companies already. Ideally with experience to Instagram. Facebook, Twitter and in an ideal world Pintrest. Any exposure to PhotoShop (or any other Graphics Packages), SEO, Magento or any other online platforms would be advantageous. As too would be any online video experiences.

We really need someone who has a proven background in digital marketing and really wants to make there mark. You will ideally be hands on and ready to recruit, develop and nurture your own team.
