A Design Assistant is required for an Architectural Lighting practice based in Bromley, Kent approximately. 30 Mins from Central London.
This role requires the applicant’s passion and creative input, someone who is at ease multitasking several projects at once. A keen interest in design with an eye for enhancing our client’s properties with colour and presence without detracting the properties aesthetics being a key objective of our work.
The applicant would be adaptable to work with computer aided drawing packages along with other standard Microsoft programs, such as word, outlook etc producing visualisations and concept mocks ups. Further opportunities within the role are programming the installations via our studio and onsite as the role progresses.
It isn’t expected the applicant to be a seasoned lighting professional, more of a person who has design and creative flare mixed with technical/working knowledge of PCs and design related applications, as training will be given. This is supporting role to our lead designer assisting with managing workloads.
Included within this role is managing the company’s marketing and interacting with social media and development within our business sector.
We are keen not to define the role too narrowly and believe the applicants ideas and visions should develop and shape the role to suit the business activities within a dynamic market.
