Deputy Store Manager Wanted in London

Deputy Store Manager - Night Shift - full-time - [Camden] and Surrounding Area.

Our structured training will give you responsibility from day one, and help develop your commercial know-how through hands on operational experience.

Assisting with the management of a diverse and dedicated team on varying night shifts (between 10pm and 6am), you will work to targets to ensure the store is shipshape and ready to open; providing an enjoyable shopping environment for our loyal customers.
Please note that your application will include three exercises, designed to provide us with a more in-depth understanding of you as a potential future leader with team Lidl.

The process will also include a telephone interview and selection event. We look forward to receiving your application!

What will you do?
·    Supporting the Store Manager and team in all aspects of your stores night shift operations.
·    Champion our freshness and stock rotation principles.
·    Ensuring shelves are well stocked, daily deliveries are processed efficiently and coordinating all preparation for promotions and special offers.
·    Help the Store Manager with certain Human Resources activities such as training and development.
·    Playing your part to ensure our customers always get what they come for through effective stock management.
·    Ensure the store is clean, both on the shop floor and behind the scenes.
·    Keeping the store clear and ensure any potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently for store opening.

What will you need?
·    A practical, hands-on approach
·    Natural leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support the development of the whole store team.
·    The willingness to go the extra mile to ensure stores are running as efficiently as possible.
·    Excellent people skills
·    A high degree of professionalism, especially when handling difficult situations.
·    A proactive approach to solving problems, and the ability to deal with any issue.
·    The flexibility to work varying shift patterns.
·    A passion for working in a fast-paced, varied environment.
·    Preferably, previous retail management experience.

·    £24,360 With the potential to earn up to £35,000*
·    30 Days holiday per annum (pro rata, including Bank Holidays), rising to 35 days after 2 years.
