Deputy Portfolio Office Manager Vacancy

The Deputy Portfolio Office Manager is a varied and interesting role. The post holder will be responsible for benefits identification, benefits review, governance and assurance of all capital investments (currently c£315m) across Guy's and St Thomas' and will work with a wide range of stakeholders including project and programme sponsors, clinical leads and project management teams across the Trust to support proposals and projects through the investment process from project inception to benefits realisation.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, project or finance professional with experience in programme management, project or programme management offices, project assurance, benefits management, financial management or a blend of these areas.
The post holder will have experience of projects involving operational change, IT, construction, estates, or facilities management. Ideally the successful individual will have experience within in a NHS Foundation Trust setting but broader relevant experience will be considered.
You will have excellent written and communication skills, highly numerate and analytical with the ability to work autonomously with and senior stakeholders and build relationships quickly. You will be able to balance conflicting demands and prioritise workloads and have the ability to achieve results through a combination of effective planning, firm direction, delegation and influence.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 14th August but may be able to offer alternate dates if necessary.
