BIRD is a busy all-day fast casual restaurant specializing in free range fried chicken. Inspired by some great local restaurants in Brooklyn and Chicago, BIRD is a distinctly British version offering an all-day menu featuring free range fried chicken, burgers, waffles and accompanied by craft Beers, cocktails and shakes.
We are currently recruiting for a junior General Manager to lead our Holloway road team.
Attentive and friendly service is at the heart of what we do, and we need leaders with personality, style and presence to be the face of these busy restaurant environments.
You’ll be an inspiring, hands-on leader with a great eye for detail, a love for our style of food, and a serious commitment to great casual service. Your enthusiasm and passion for the industry will motivate those around you, and you will lead by example. You will have:
· Excellent communication skills and a great personality;
· The ability to cope with pressure and lead a team calmly through service:
· A deep understanding about what makes great service in this kind of environment;
· experience in a fast casual (ideally branded) restaurant/bar environment;
· The skills to coach, develop and motivate;
· A willingness and interest in your own personal development within an exciting, rapidly growing new concept
In exchange we offer a competeative 48 hour salary plus a share in the restaurants tronc system and performance related bonus.
