Demolition Needed in London

Place: KT3 3ST, New Malden



We are a well-established, fast growing demolition/strip-out company based in New Malden, Surrey.  Due to recent expansion we are looking for a full time Demolition-Contracts Manager / Estimator.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: -
To attend site regularly and work along site staff to ensure the smooth running of the contract. This includes the governance of sub-contractors, suppliers and the daily on-site project team.
Review and monitor on-site progress enabling delivery of contract that meets scheduling and budget requirements and/or variation of works.
To use specialist knowledge to assess demolition options, to ensure best working methods are used with respect to scheduling and regulatory constraints.
Prepare and update contract schedules
Pre-start meeting site visits with client, and during project and final site sign off (Certificate of Practical Completion)
Contribute to Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQs) when required.
Compile records for clients, as required
Preparation of invoicing for admin
Weekly submission of information including weekly timesheets, material sheets and plant and site –
Ensuring that operations comply with all legal requirements including Health, Safety and Environmental matters.
Ensuring that the company complies with all contractual requirements (e.g. Drawn information and specifications)
To plan, prepare and develop risk assessments, method statements, programs and resource requirements.
Maintain good relationships with clients, colleagues and consultants.
Ensure all site records are produced.
Key Skills/Qualifications required
CCDO Demolition Management Black / Gold Card Preferred or Similar depending on experience.
experience working within a similar role.
Asbestos Management would be advantageous.
Ability to price work
Good Management Skills.
A Good knowledge of relevant demolition/health and safety policies and procedures.
Be approachable and professional
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
IT Literate (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
Any other job-related duties as required
Must be able to work well within a reactive industry, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
This role would suit a person with experience ideally in the demolition industry if not a similar industry.
For all of the above you will be given total support in becoming confident and familiar with the job role.
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Those this role is predominately Office Based, you must be willing to travel, as work can be nationwide.
Salary and package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
