Dementia Care Manager (£35,000 - £37,000)Here at Corus Consultancy, we are recruiting for a Dementia Care Manager for our client in London to manage care services. This is a permanent position with an immediate start working with a leading organisation. This is a critical role that provides the opportunity to create a dramatic and Positive impact on our client's ability to live an active vibrant life. Your team will be responsible for the provision of the care services to clients in their home. What we require from you? * You must work closely with the Dementia Team to ensure smooth day to day running of the service, including providing support to the team, clients, carers and attending to emergencies * You have to be responsible for the recruitment, supervision, appraisal, induction, development and performance management of support workers working within the service to provide high-quality care for dementia clients * To liaise with families or/and office team members to provide a consistent approach that meets the individual needs of each client. * To assist the clients in achieving the outcomes of their set goals as identified in their support plans * Have experience of managing services for people with dementia * Proven ability to lead and develop a team and work positively in a diverse environment * Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to guide and motivate others with excellent organisational skills * Be able to communicate clearly and tactfully at different levels * Have a relevant professional qualification and/or a relevant management qualification is desirable * Have strong presentation skills Working hours will be 37.5 weekly.
