Demand Planner

Up to £40,000 per annum

Company client currently recruiting for a Demand Planner to join an exciting new team in the heart of London. The Demand Planner will be responsible for managing various finished good product levels within a distribution and manufacturing capacity. To work with the vendor(s) and associated retailer base in meeting shared objectives. Ensure that excellent service levels are extended in the overall management of the client's customer base.

* Degree educated or equivalent work experience.
* Quick to learn and understand complex systems / processes.
* experience of working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
* High level of attention to detail
* Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively.
* Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and under-pressure.
* Ability to work cross functionally
* Understands supply chain and inventory management principles.
* Able to multi-task
* Excellent analytic skills
* PC literate, including advanced Excel (look ups and pivot tables), Word and Power Point skills.
* Team player with collaborative attitude who can build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
* Self starter with good time management and organisational skills.
* experience of working unsupervised and achieving objectives on own initiative.
* Confident, friendly, sociable with a professional attitude.
* Enthusiastic, positive and flexible approach.
* Excellent communicator

Desirable experience:

* SAP experience
* experience of FMCG distribution to retail / warehouse.
* Knowledge of DVD / BD market, pre-production and manufacturing.
