We are a small floral design company based in Battersea working mostly for hotels and office contracts in central London.
We are looking for a delivery driver and studio assistant to join our fun and friendly team of florists and designers.
Previous experience in delivering flowers/ props for contracts and events would be ideal.
You need to be strong and physically fit as your be lifting heavy vases and props, you should also have good loading and organizing skills.
The job involves delivery and collection of floral vases and event equipment, on site set up and de-rig of events.
It is a full time job 40 hrs per week with early starts on a regular basis. Due to the nature of the events industry we require staff to be flexible during our peak seasons.
Applicants will require a full clean UK drivers’ license, to include the ability to drive large vans and need to be over 25 years old due to our insurance.
The successful applicant will need; excellent attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, to be reliable, flexible, presentable, friendly, enthusiastic, organized and able to work well within a team.
Please note that the role involves organizing the studio, working at height (ladders) and loading/unloading heavy equipment at venues. Candidate must be physically fit, punctual, reliable and committed.
