Workshop Assistant and delivery driver required to work in a friendly, well equipped, modern furniture workshop.
We manufacture bespoke furniture and architectural joinery to the highest standard, using a variety of materials and finishes.
We are a young and vibrant company and the job offers an interesting and varied role within the company.
The main role will be wrapping, packing and delivery of our finished product in and around the London area.
You may also be involved in helping with manufacturing, finishing and site installation of furniture.
The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:
- be over 21 years old.
- have a clean full UK Driving License
- have a good knowledge of driving around London and have previous experience of driving a van.
- have a good understanding of English, both written and spoken.
- be well presented and have good communication skills as you will be the face of the company when making deliveries.
- have the ability to meet deadlines, be organised and work individually or as part of a team.
- be physically fit and able to carry furniture up multiple flights of stairs.
- have good spatial awareness.
- previous experience of working with high end furniture would be advantageous.
The position is full time, permanent, Paye with 28 days holiday per year. Hourly wages are based on experience. Over time available.
