The De Beauvoir Deli is a fine food store and cafe located on the Islington/Hackney border, open 7 days a week. We make a great deal of food onsite and at our production kitchen a few doors down the street, in addition to groceries from around Europe, including wine, cheese, charcuterie and much more.
We're looking for a part time Shift Manager to join our team for 2 shifts per week including at least one each weekend. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the front of house in the absence of the General Manager. The hands-on role will include drinks making, till operating, deli counter service and general customer assistance. As the manager on duty, they will be responsible for either opening or closing the shop, with tasks including Goods Receiving and cashing up.
Applicants should have a keen interest in food and drink as well as a background in customer service. Some management experience is also essential if you're to hit the ground running.
