Ottolenghi Islington is looking for a deli assistant to join our team. We are a restaurant and deli with a focus on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern inspired dishes, and unique and delicious cakes and packed products.The deli assistant is a varied role; on any given shift you may be responsible for helping takeaway customers, keeping our vibrant displays looking their very best, or plating food for our eat in guests.It is really important that you are able to build genuine and meaningful relationships with our regular guests and create special experiences for first time visitors. There is the opportunity to progress into waiting positions.The role is full time, 5 shifts a week, totaling around 40 hours. It can involve both day and evening shifts (depending on preference) and most weekends.
