We have a vacancy for a tutor to work for 1 hour every day with a student who has special educational needs.
Student requires support in English and Maths who is 15 years of age but learning at KS1 level.
You will need to have the skills and motivation to help student with learning difficulties to achieve their potential. We need caring tutors, dedicated to helping students to access the national curriculum either at home or in school.
Often with Special Educational Needs the support you give will have a tangible impact on their future opportunities. Tutoring takes place during the daytimes at a time that is convenient for both tutor and student.
If you have the appropriate qualifications to teach our students we’d like to hear from you. Teaching or tutoring experience is preferable - although candidates with strong subject knowledge and the passion to help others fulfil their potential are welcome.
Having your own transport is an advantage but not essential.
