DAY MANAGER - London                                                                               Department:                                                  MANAGEMENTReports to:                                                     GENERAL MANAGERPurpose of Position: The Day Manager is fully responsible and accountable for the daytime operation of the business and reporting to the General Manager of any problems or issues that will affect the efficient running of the evening service. The position will involve following up any issue that has arisen during the previous night’s trading.The ultimate goal of all employees is to deliver excellent customer service, creating a unique experience for the customer which makes them want to return; you should be positive, loyal and a proud ambassador of the Bounce brand. Core Non-Negotiable Skills and experience:
Proven organisational skills; a proficiency in organising and managing different tasks to required deadlines.

At least one year’s office management or supervisory experience.

Excellent IT skills and an in-depth knowledge of MS Office programs.

Fluent verbal and written communication and excellent interpersonal skills.

A high standard of numeracy and good financial acumen, with experience of cash-up procedures, invoicing, reports and forecasts.

Expertise and patience to deal with any issues that arise – an analytical and creative approach to correcting the existing problem and avoiding future conflict.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with cash up accountability and resolve issues with the previous evening reconciliation.

Set the tills up across the business, start the day’s business in Pixel Point; count the safe and enter count into Synergy; order change; assist G4S with cash collections.

Receive orders; ensure they are correct with the Synergy Purchase order and convert to GRNs; follow up missing or incorrect orders.

Match up all invoices with Synergy GRNs and process with accounts; follow up invoice queries; contact suppliers for credit notes as required.

Complete the daily Health and Safety checklist.

Liaise with cleaners and complete the daily check list.

Report and log maintenance issues within the building and for ‘project’ works, liaise with the General Manager on scheduling works.

Schedule contractors for maintenance works; ensure contractors follow company guidelines and also landlord’s conditions for timing of work to be carried out.

Order Epos stationary and maintain par stock levels.

Process and follow up on daily pre-orders, process them in Pixel.

Print and update menu changes across the business; update Pixel Point with menu changes, complete recipes in Synergy and produce training sheets; ensure the information on the website is correct, represents any menu changes and reflects any changes to opening/closing times.

Manage daytime events when requested including management of employees and staff working the event; including instructing the cleaners as required prior to and after the event prior to evening opening. Observe Company’s rules and procedures and carry out any reasonable request made by their Manager.

Be aware of your responsibilities and adhere to legislation in respect of licensing, data protection, Health and Safety at Work and COSHH.

Attend and assist the GM with training sessions and team meetings as required.
