Based in London, we are one of the best-established Retail Tech Consultancies in the UK. We are currently looking for a Data Scientist with experience in Statistics / Mathematics / Python / C / SAS to work in our growing Decision Science team and to aid us in achieving our ambitions as a company.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will join the Data/Decision Science team and you will begin working on a project for one of our main clients. They are one of the biggest companies within their field, and we are helping them improve and maintain their Teradata Systems. You will also be required to help this client improve the data for their AI systems, and regular updates will be provided to the client on a daily basis.
There will be a need for you to contribute to our analytic problem solving approaches across our projects, meaning you will need to be an effective problem solver with a strong, intellectual background in either Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Physics. This may include a Masters or a PhD within your academic history.
WE NEED YOU TO HAVE
* PhD in either Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Physics.
* Python / C / C ++ / Java / Fortran
* Mathematica / R / Matlab / SAS / SPSS
* Statistical Analysis
* Data Visualisation
* Expert at Problem Solving
* Excellent Communication skills
IT'S NICE TO HAVE
* Knowledge of Big Data platofmrs (Hadoop, HIVE, Spark etc.)
* experience with Azure
