DAILY HOUSEKEEPER
Monday to Friday – 9-7pm
Lovely young family relocating from Switzerland to London, require an experienced and self-sufficient housekeeper to manage the cleaning and laundry for a family of six. The property is a rented home for now, but a new property is being built close by which will be ready in approximately 18 months time.
This is a very busy household with four small children, ages from newborn to 4 years and a dog. A full time nanny is employed but you must enjoy working in a home with children.
It is essential that you have an eye for detail, are organized, and extremely efficient in your work. You will need to have very good laundry and ironing skills as this is a big part of the position. In addition, occasionally you may be asked to prepare simple but good standard of family level cooking and be able to follow recipes and prepare healthy, well-balanced meals. However the gentleman of the household loves to cook and so you may be asked to assist in the kitchen. When the family entertain, they will bring in caterers; it would be beneficial if you’re able to assist with table service.
Although primarily a Monday-Friday position, you may be asked occasionally to work on Saturday and take another day off.
Salary £500 net per week - Driver not essential but would be a bonus. (HU3156B) This is a long term position and you must have at least 3 years experience working in a private home.
