A young, creative family who have two children aged 10 and 8, are looking for a calm, intelligent, experienced Housekeeper who would be confident carrying out basic housekeeping duties to a high standard in five bedroom town house.  We are looking for someone who has had a minimum of 2-years’ housekeeping, who has a flexible attitude and works well in a team environment , although the family will not be unreasonable in their requests.
Housekeeping Duties:
The role will include all household duties including: vacuuming, dusting, mopping, surface cleaning, kitchen and bathroom details, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, shopping, food preparation, simple family cooking and making sure all assigned areas of the home are clean, neat and tidy to the required standard.  Someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who is happy to work in a fast paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.
Household Duties:
The role will include household administrative duties such as purchasing presents, returning clothing to department stores, matching receipts to statements, booking basic maintenance call outs such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning as well as ad hoc alarm and TV repairs. In addition the family has a house dog and cat that will need to be cared for throughout the weekdays.
General Requirement:
Must have at least 2 years’ experience working in a private household or hotel.
Extensive experience of caring for laundry/ironing and wardrobe management.
A friendly, hard-working and honest attitude.
Flexible and happy to around young children and pets.
A driver would be advantageous but not essential.
DBS clearance.
First Class References.
