Daily Housekeeper / Maid - Nine Elms/Vauxhall, London
As a Maid you will be responsible for maintaining this beautiful, new, penthouse apartment, ensuring the highest possible standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and good order are maintained at all times
Roles and Responsibilities: The Maid is expected to support the Head Housekeeper, while working closely with the other members of the household team, delivering the highest possible levels of service to the Principals, their Family and their guests.
Eligibility: We are looking for: Room Attendants / Maids who want to be the best at what they do, and who preferably come with proven success in similar work environments. If you are a team player, keen to learn, and come with a desire to excel, and have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills please do apply. Training in skills and standards will be provided.
Whilst previous experience in housekeeping is preferred, we are open to considering hard-working candidates who come from other service orientated backgrounds, those who possess the required disciplines and attitude to succeed in a high-pressure environment.
Previous experience gained in renowned luxury retail, private households or boutique 5* hotels / Excellent timekeeping / Honesty and integrity with an exemplary level of discretion and a proven work history that comes with checkable references / Distinctive, professional and warm personality, combined with the finest personal presentation and an understanding of the rules of hygiene / Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines / Exceptional customer care skills / A good level of spoken English / Must be flexible with working hours and adaptable to change, and be flexible to work weekends and Bank Holidays, sometimes at short notice. Time will be given in lieu when overtime is worked
Candidates must come with a positive can do attitude and be open to learn new skills, as they may be asked to work in all areas of the housekeeping department, which might include the laundry, helping with Packing and unpacking of luggage, helping in the kitchen, walking the family’s dog. Salary DOE, plus uniform and meals. Start end of summer. Interviews now. DBS required and can be organised.
