We’re now looking for a top quality Customer Services Assistant to join the fast-paced Backup Care team. You’ll be playing a key role in our continued delivery of a first-class customer experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Booking last-minute backup childcare and eldercare for 50,000 + service users.
- Using our in-house software to manage the life cycle of all bookings.
- Swiftly responding to all inbound calls and emails.
- Liaising with providers to ensure a seamless service.
- Undertaking essential support admin.
- Other service-relevant tasks assigned by the Operations Manager.
When and where you'll be doing it:
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The office is open 7.15am-7.00pm with alternating early (7:15am) and late (10:30am) shifts.
- Spacious, stylish, modern office space, a 3-minute walk from Putney Bridge tube station (District line) or 15 minutes from Putney rail station.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Great telephone-based customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal / written communication and people skills.
- Decent IT skills and the ability to master new software.
- A strong work ethic, good teamwork and organisational skills.
- Reliability: a good attendance and punctuality record is essential.
- Able to handle queries with confidence, maturity and tact.
- Energy, enthusiasm, a high degree of self-motivation and a 'can-do’ attitude.
- Professionalism - cool, calm and collected under pressure.
- A sense of humour!
