Tate Enterprises Ltd. Is the trading arm of Tate. Its chief areas of operation are retailing on four sites, publishing (both Tate exhibition catalogues and general art books, as well as illustrated children’s books), product development, picture library and licensing.
We have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused person to support our ecommerce team on a full-time, fixed-term basis (until 5th January 2022) in the lead up to Christmas 2021.
We are looking for a proactive individual with practical experience in delivering excellent customer service. As well as speaking to online customers over the telephone, the Customer Services Assistant will manage a busy email inbox, respond to all enquiries in a timely and professional manner and work closely with other departments, in particular our warehouse team, to resolve issues.
The role is reception based so the successful candidate will have shared responsibility for tasks such as greeting visitors, managing the switchboard, signing for courier deliveries and distributing post.
We are looking for someone with an excellent level of IT literacy, someone with experience of working with professional database systems as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. The role also involves using a number of web-based systems, so we are looking for someone who is quick to learn.
The successful candidate will be able to show a lot of initiative and work well independently and also as part of a small team.
The working hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The Customer Services Assistant will need to be able to work on 22nd December and from 27th to 29th December.
