Reporting to Customer Service Manager
Lagoon is the UK’s largest designer and wholesaler of games, puzzles and books as gifts. We own the copyright to all our products, which are thought up by a team of in house product designers. You would be a key member of a great team centered on the wonderful products we have to offer. We are looking for a self-starting, organised and proactive customer service executive to join our efficient team.
The successful candidate will hold the below skills and experience:

Excellent attention to detail and organization skills with the ability to prioritise.
Confident on the phone with a friendly telephone manner with the ability to build strong relationships quickly.
Have the ability to work closely with the team around you to meet targets and deadlines.
Be computer literate, using Microsoft word and excel (knowledge of SAGE is a benefit)
Open to picking up adhoc and administrational duties on a case by case basis.
Willing to learn but to also be happy as a self starter.

Responsibilities include:

Assist the Customer Service team with admin required in fulfilling customer orders, this includes large accounts such as Robert Dyas, Menkind, TJ Maxx and Debenhams.
Process post via Royal Mail and open all incoming mail to pass on to relevant departments.
Processing all orders. From the receipt of orders, processing on SAGE, allocating stock, sending orders down to the warehouse for picking and despatch right through to the shipping to customers and any after-sales service as required by the team.
Sales and Marketing to independents – keep in touch with independent customers by phone and email whilst ensuring they have all the products they need with constant upselling, calling independent customers and potentials to invite them to shows, calling customers who haven’t ordered recently and helping to market our product/services to our independent customer base.
Attendance at Trade Fairs may be required - we currently only do 3 in the UK each year to meet and greet customers and sell product on our stand. Admin relating to trade fairs – eg booking hotels, transport and restaurants etc for staff.
