The role – customer service executive
The position of Customer Service Executive is an office based, but heavily customer focused, role. The successful individual will have the freedom and responsibility to work across Shape’s business, impacting the overall quality of experience that our client’s receive.

• Answering telephone calls and responding to customer support requests/enquiries by email.
• Responding to tickets raised by customers through Shape’s ticketing system.
• Work in partnership with the customer service team and our suppliers to ensure tickets raised are managed effectively within agreed SLAs set for each ticket.
• Assisting customers with maintaining their telephone system via Shape’s Self Servicing portal.
• Responsible for managing telephone and data faults raised by customers either through the ticketing system or by telephone/email.
• Chase and follow-up with suppliers to ensure deadlines are met for customers.
• Assisting the sales team with sales support related administration.
• Assisting the Operations Director with customer service related administration.
• Assist colleagues by sharing and communicating customer feedback.

You and your skills
• You are customer focused professional, prioritising quality of service at all times.
• You have first class communication skills, both face to face and via phone or email, and excel in client contact situations.
• You are always keen to get involved, viewing potential challenges as opportunities.
• Existing technical knowledge is not essential. But an interest and a desire to learn is.
• You are an excellent team player, but also possess the self-motivation to work autonomously.
• You have strong relationship building skills, developing rapport with colleagues and clients.
• You possess good computer literacy – MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong prioritisation, planning, time management and organisational skills.
• You are outgoing, and can actively contribute to a fun, motivated working environment.
