Tate Enterprises Ltd. Is the trading arm of Tate. Its chief areas of operation are retailing on four sites, publishing (both Tate exhibition catalogues and general art books, as well as illustrated children’s books), product development, picture library and licensing.
We have great opportunities to join the retail team at Tate Modern.
We are looking for two Apprentice Retail Assistants to join our team on a permanent basis, working various days on a 35-hour contract (5 days per week). As part of these Apprenticeships, you will undertake a 12-month work/learn programme, where you will be provided with regular training and will complete a variety of assignments and assessments. On successful completion of the apprenticeship you are guaranteed to remain in a permanent full-time role with a 20% salary increase.
To be successful you will need to show a keen desire to work with the public. You will be part of a dynamic team and so will need to work well with others and display excellent communication and collaboration skills. A strong work ethic, a pro-active approach and lots of enthusiasm are a must in this position.
If you are passionate about wanting to provide exceptional customer service and are willing to engage with a large and diverse customer base, then you are just what we are looking for.
The role involves working morning delivery shifts, late shifts, weekends and bank holidays on a Rota basis.
