My client, a small successful curtain and blind company based in Stoke Newington, North London, are recruiting for a reliable and trustworthy Curtain and Blind Fitter to join their busy team. Previous property maintenance/handywork experience is required for this position and training will be provided.
You will be given a schedule of appointments and will be required to travel to properties in the London area to take measurements and install curtains and blinds.
A clean driving licence is required for this role.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm, plus overtime and occasional Sundays
Type of contract: Permanent
Salary: £8.50 - £11.00 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: 28 days paid holiday
Main duties:
• Accurately measure for curtains and blinds
• Curtain and blind installation
Requirements for the role:
• Basic property maintenance/DIY experience
• Valid driving licence
• Good spoken English
• Reliable and trustworthy

• A common sense approach to duties and ability to use own initiative
