The Role:
You will be required to assist the Finance Manager with the management of day to day finance operations and on overseeing all regular inputs into our accounting software Xero. This role is critical for supporting our financial reporting, budgeting and strategic decision making. With aspirations of significant growth in 2022 the role will provide support around the following responsibilities:
Accounts payable (using Datamolino) and the management of supplier relations;
Bank/AMEX reconciliations, including the collation of information and documentation from our stores;
Managing the personal expenses claims system (using Receipt Bank);
Store cash reconciliations;
Dealing with ad hoc internal finance queries from HQ personnel and from our store managers;
Ad hoc Excel analysis;
Assisting with monthly financial reporting;
Assisting with monitoring and preparing forecasts and budgets;
Maintaining a strong relationship with key members of staff.
Who you are:
Highly productive and organised;
Forward thinker with commercial awareness;
Have a genuine passion about spectacles including style, design and manufacture;
Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills;
Looking for challenging experience within the finance department of an exciting growing start up.
Qualifications and skills required:
Intermediate level Excel;
Degree level education or previous accounting experience;
experience with Xero is preferable.
